New to Yoga?
What to expect
If you have never done yoga before, or are fairly new to it, then it can feel a little daunting attending your first class, but yoga is not about making judgements or being competitive, it's just using the breath and movement to encourage a sense of wellbeing through the body. You should hopefully want to return after your first class!

Everyone is welcome to join the classes. I always try to deliver clear instructions that are easy to follow and offer modifications.

I encourage the use of yoga equipment including, blocks and straps, especially for beginners or if you are working with an injury.
You can expect to do a variety of poses or asanas to help improve strength, flexibility and overall fitness.

I sometimes play music in the studio classes or just at the end during relaxation.
There will be breathing exercises to help reduce stress and anxiety to create a sense of calmnessas well as guided relaxations.
